If Mrs Don and Mr Nkem Okoro had foresaw what will happen to them in Nigeria they wouldn’t have left their base in Houston Texas.




Pictured above are two Nigerians (couple) who spent their entire life in Texas. The couple died in a ghastly road accident caused by robbers on the popular Benin-Onitsha expressway while they were travelling to their village for the burial ceremony of Don’s mother.

According to family sources, the couple arrived Nigeria few days ago and were on their way to a burial when armed robbers attacked them on the aforementioned expressway but in a bid to escape from the dare devils, their driver took off leaving one of the robbers injured.

The other one was said to have rained bullets on the back Tyre of the Toyota Highlander SUV conveying them to the burial service when the car somersaulted severally killing everyone inside the car including a 3 year old girl..

Don and Nkem Okoro are survived by their five children who stayed back in Texas.

The entire Nigerian community in Houston are grieving over their untimely death.

They claimed the disaster could have been prevented if Nigerian Federal Government was security conscious.

The couple have not travelled to Nigeria since late 2003. This is their first visit in eleven years.
