Cultism: Cult Groups Reportedly Claimed 13 Lives In Benin, Edo State

The renew rivalry between Eiye (Bird) and Aiye (Black Axe) confraternity cult groups reportedly claimed 13 lives in Benin, Edo State.
A 33-year-old father of three, Onosaze A Inegbedion, was said to be among the victims.

A source from New Benin area narrated:

“I think what we are witnessing now is a supremacy battle between these elements, and you know because most of this people belong to rival cult groups; they tend to always want to lord over each other.”

The State Police Command spokesman, DSP Joseph Edoghiawerhie, confirmed the incident without mentioning however whether it was a cult-related issue.
