2015 Election: Abacha’s Son Picks PDP’s Forms in kano

The son of Nigeria’s late military ruler Sani Abacha picked the nomination form and expression of interest form to participate in 2015 governorship race in Kano State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to report by BusinessDay, Mohammed Abacha completed formalities on October 29, 2014, Wednesday. He also gave comments to journalists, saying that he remains focused on the upcoming campaign and that the PDP would be victorious.

“We will win Kano State. We are hopeful that we will win in Kano State,” Mohammed Abacha declared.

It would be recalled that the son of late general was in June 2014 discharged by the High Court sitting in Abuja over alleged receipt of stolen property worth N100.38bn.
