BBC is reporting that over 2000 people may have been killed by Boko Haram militants in a fresh attack on Baga town in Borno state yesterday January 7th.
A state official in Borno state, Musa Alhaji Bukar told BBC that bodies lay scattered on Baga streets and that the whole town has been destroyed. On Saturday, a military base was run over by the sect members in Baga town.
